Education: I am graduated from University (bachelor degree).. In the future I want to educate for master in the field of financial mathematic. I guess FA will effect negatively going to university by myself, but I will never give up and I will have success with my goals both in school life and in my business life…
Who do you live with? I live with my older sister and my mother.
What’s a typical day for you? I always go to my work office on weekdays, until 5 p.m.
How long have you known you are living with FA? I was diagnosed with FA in 2013. At first I was experiencing knee discharge and balance anxiety mildly. Later I decided to go to neurology doctor in order to understand what happened with me
Are there any others with FA in your family? Yes, my older sister also has it.
Describe your transition from walking to walker/wheelchair. I move outside by wheelchair and at home by myself by holding the railings. At my work office I go anywhere via power chair.
What do you like to do to stay active and what type of exercises work for you to stay strong? I like to do stretching movements and walking in parallel bars.
Do you have any hobbies or special interests? Reading books, watching football matches and meeting new people at lunch breaks.
What is a good trick to make daily life easier? Always smiling and not thinking any negative thing.
When FA gets you down, what do you think/do to feel better? I think about what FARA is doing for our disease.
What is one way living with FA has POSITIVELY affected your life? One way is to believe that the future holds good things or magic.
What is a favorite motivational quote of yours? I repeat this sentence everyday. “Only you can help yourself to get good days” decided to go to neurology doctor in order to know what happened to me.
What is piece of advice that someone with FA has given you that encourages and inspires you? “If you leave yourself, everybody already leave yourself”
What is the best advice YOU could give to a person who has been newly diagnosed with FA? Never think negative news and never give up physical therapy.
What is the first thing you want to do when a cure/treatment to FA is found? One day, I want to go to the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament in London.
“I have FA but FA doesn’t have me.” What does this statement mean to you? How do you live your life in the face of adversity? Sometimes I loss my motivation and hope, but usually when I think my mother’s efforts for me, I come to myself and continue my life. And later I say that FA if I want it effect my physiology.
