Kellyn joined FARA in 2023 as the Patient Engagement Manager after completing a master’s degree in genetic counseling at the University of Pennsylvania. During her time at Penn, Kellyn was drawn to working with patients with neurogenetic conditions through rotations at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her experience with the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities fellowship sparked her interest in patient advocacy projects. She is excited to use her training in patient education and psychosocial support to collaborate with members of the FA community and advance FARA’s mission and goals.
