Team FARA - Angie Roth

Angie Roth 4I first got involved with FARA last year when I coached my cousin Dan to the successful finish of his very first marathon. I decided to join Team FARA because I am very excited about how much progress there has been with research. I know that time is of the essence and anything I can do to help researchers get the tools they need to find a cure - I'm in! I am honored to do this with my cousin Dan for his daughter Raena!

My goal for the New York marathon is to enjoy it and take it all in! I can't wait to experience this amazing event with my cousin. And if I am feeling good I might try for a Boston Qualifier (I just have a few minutes to shave off!).

Angie Roth collageThe hardest part of my marathon training was probably getting in all of my workouts in during the busy summer months when I am coaching softball for my 3 daughters. But I am thrilled and blessed that I got it done! And I didn't injure myself during this training cycle so I was able to run a new personal best in the Twin Cities on Oct 7! Maybe the toughest part is going to be running 2 marathons in just 4 weeks. :) Check out my Crowdrise page here!
