The Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) is committed to advancing research towards meaningful treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia. Because FARA focuses its funding solely on carefully vetted research, all donations directly impact FARA’s ability to promote the progress of treatments and cures for FA.
When you join FARA’s monthly giving program with a recurring donation of $10 or more, you are joining a community invested in setting a path to treatments and a cure for FA through research. A recurring donation is a budget-friendly way to support FARA’s mission and help fund research progress.

If you wish to consider donations to FARA in memory of a loved one, FARA is able to supply pre-addressed envelopes. FARA will also track memorial tribute gifts and notify the family of the contributors (donation amounts are not included in the notification).
